About Biomedical Communications

Company Profile:

Biomedical Communications began operating in 1980 in the USA and in 1982 in Canada. Its products are available worldwide. New products are being developed continuously and our products catalog will reflect our new materials as soon as they become available.

Biomedical Communications operates two divisions: continuing medical education training programs/CME and publishing. We offer medical education training programs for physicians, nurse-practitioners, nurse-midwives and physician-assistants on location at hospitals, clinics, at society meetings, etc. for groups. Detailed information is available for group session training programs by world-class faculty consultants and educators in the course information area of our site. Our publishing division manufactures and/or distributes VHS videos (other formats are sometimes available), patient information pamphlets on abnormal Pap smears, electrosurgery and laser surgery for lower genital disease in women, teaching and self-study slide sets for professional women's health care providers on women's health care topics, textbooks and CD-ROMs on various topics including colposcopy, CO2 laser surgery, and electrosurgery. A complete catalog of items can be seen in our training materials section of the web site where you can browse through all the items we offer and make secure purchases.

We offer meeting planning assistance to groups and institutions who wish to sponsor and conduct training programs. Our expertise is colposcopy, cervical cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment of lower genital preinvasive neoplasia, cryo-vs-laser-vs-LEEP efficacy, carbon dioxide laser principles and applications in gynecology, surgical principles and safety precautions for modern, monopolar, loop, needle and ball electrode electrosurgery.
